Party your fins off at Audubon Aquarium of the Americas’ ‘Scales and Ales,’ Sept. 30

Written by  Audubon Nature Institute
Make plans now to be at the Audubon Aquarium of the Americas on Friday, September 30 for the 7th annual Scales & Ales, benefiting the Aquarium’s education programs and conservation efforts.

Soak up the sights and sounds with brews from Abita Brewing Company, wine, and specialty cocktails from open bars, and delicious cuisine from more than 40 local restaurants while experiencing the exceptional sights and sounds of the Aquarium after dark. Live entertainment by The Chee-Weez and DJ Brice Nice and a unique aquatic atmosphere are highlights of the event as it flows throughout the Aquarium and onto the plaza overlooking the Mississippi River.
Since 2010, Scales & Ales has raised more than $850,000 for the Aquarium's education and conservation programs. “For more than 25 years, Audubon Aquarium has built an appreciation of the underwater world,” said Ron Forman, Audubon President and CEO. “Continued support by the community through events like Scales & Ales is the keystone of our fundraising success - all of which supports critical conservation efforts throughout the world and our mission to inspire the next generation to celebrate the wonders of nature.”

Scales & Ales is an adult-only event from 8:00pm-11:00pm. Tickets are $65 for Audubon Institute members and $75 for non-members. Patron tickets are $125 per person. All food and drinks are included in ticket price.
